Lisa DeLong

Lisa DeLong studied painting and received her MA in Art History at Brigham Young University. She moved to London in 2001. DeLong completed her doctoral studies at The Prince's School of Traditional Arts in 2007, studying under Professor Keith Critchlow and Paul Marchant, two of the world’s foremost geometers.

DeLong is now Outreach Program Manager for the Prince's School, designing and conducting educational workshops internationally in places like Azerbaijan, Abu Dhabi, Pakistan, Malaysia, China, and Pakistan.

In her paintings, DeLong investigates the beauty found in the conversation between order and the unexpected, chaos and cosmos. Both the patterns and the raw materials of her works are informed by travels and research with the Prince’s School.
