Sketchbook Exhibition and Under-$200 Show

Writ & Vision is pleased to announce the opening of a unique and exciting art show Friday, July 10th, from 6 - 9 pm at our gallery in Downtown Provo. The Exhibition will feature the personal sketchbooks of 10 well-known artists, as well as original, unframed works for purchase (all under $200).

The artists include:
Casey Jex Smith
Annie Poon
J. Kirk Richards
Valerie Atkisson
Jess Smart Smiley
Brian Kershisnik
Emily Fox King
Faith Kershisnik
Andrew Ballstaedt
Steve Vistaunet

A sketchbook is a constant and vital part of an artist's creative process. It can be a space for trying new ideas, exploring under-explored territory, and unfiltered self-expression. It combines the raw creative possibility of the private studio with the intimacy of a personal journal.

The exhibition will hang through the first August. Friday's opening is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served.
