Evening with Author Jack Harrell

Join us on Tuesday, June 28, at 7:00 p.m. for a special panel discussion on Mormonism, writing, and creativity featuring:  --Jack Harrell (creative writing professor at BYU-Idaho and author of Writing Ourselves) --Boyd Peterson (editor of Dialogue and author of Dead Wood and Rushing Water) --Darlene Young (creative writing professor at BYU) --Eric Samuelsen (playwright and emeritus professor of theatre at BYU) A native of southeastern Illinois, Jack Harrell moved to Utah and joined the Mormon Church at age twenty-one. He has published a novel, Vernal Promises, and the fiction collection A Sense of Order and Other Stories. He teaches writing at Brigham Young University—Idaho and has published articles in Sunstone and Dialogue. This event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served.
