Mormon Comics Panel and Author Event

Writ & Vision is pleased to present three of Mormonism's best and most engaging comics creators: Brittany Long Olsen, Scott Hales, and Stephen Carter. Each artist/writer will be signing copies of their newest works, and they will be joined for a panel discussion on Mormon comics by James Goldberg. --Brittany Long Olsen is the author of the graphic novel DENDO: One Year and One Half in Tokyo, which won the 2015 Association for Mormon Letters award in the Comics category. Her daily journal comics can be found at http://comicdiaries.com/ --Scott Hales is the author of the webcomics Mormon Shorts: Knee Length Comics (compiled in book form and available at this event), as well as The Garden of Enid: Adventures of a Weird Mormon Girl. --Stephen Carter is editor of Sunstone magazine, creator of the serialized Mormon graphic novel iPlates, and author of the forthcoming Mormonism for Beginners.  The event is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be served.
