The Mama Dragon Story Project: A Community Conversation

Writ & Vision is proud to host an evening with representatives of the Mama Dragon Story Project. The Mama Dragons are predominantly Mormon women seeking to protect their LGBT+ children from the rejection and stigma they so often face in their day-to-day lives. The aim of the project is to aim and to share.

Join us as we celebrate this project and hear from speakers Carol Lynn Pearson and Tom Christofferson. We will also be exhibiting the fine art photography of Kimberly Anderson. Kim has created portraits of these women on 5x7 Tri-X and made AZO contact prints. She uses an old portrait lens from 1907 and finishes the prints in her own darkroom. We will be exhibiting some of the portraits in the gallery, and we will have the opportunity to hear from a few of the Mamas themselves.

We hope to raise awareness for the project and for its GoFundMe page:

The event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served. Please join us in supporting these brave women and their tireless work.
