John Dominic Crossan -- Author Signing and Panel Discussion with Famed New

Writ & Vision is pleased to announce that renowned New Testament scholar and author John Dominic Crossan* will be joining us in the store on Tuesday, July 28th, to sign copies of his new book, 'How To Read The Bible And Still Be A Christian.' Professor Crossan will be joined by a group of panelists for a roundtable discussion of his book. The panel includes:

--Eric D. Huntsman, a New Testament scholar teaching at BYU, author of 'The Miracles of Jesus," Eric received his PhD in Ancient History from the University of Pennsylvania. 

--Kim Matheson Berkey, a Philosophy of Religion student at Harvard Divinity School, Kim is one of Mormonism's most prominent and interesting young theological scholars.

--Colby Townsend, a student at the University of Utah in Religious Studies and Comparative literature, Colby's academic work focuses on the textual relationship between the King James Bible and Joseph Smith's translation projects.

Come and meet, listen to, and engage with one of the world's preeminent Biblical scholars, get copies of his books signed, and enjoy lively discussion.

The event is free and open to the public, and is expected to be standing room only, so arrive early. As usual, light refreshments will be served.
